Beijing Institute of Hepatology, as a municipal public welfare medical research institution, has continuously grown and developed under the care and support of its higher authorities, in collaboration with Beijing You'an Hospital through an institute-hospital cooperation model. The construction of research platforms serves as the hardware foundation for the institute's development and a necessary guarantee for its long-term progress. By leveraging its own strengths and focusing on long-term development, the institute has established six technology and equipment platforms, which have been integrated into the Open and Shared Technology Platform. This platform is responsible for the construction and management of the institute's research technology infrastructure, overseeing the operation and shared use of large-scale instruments and equipment, and providing technical support services for teaching and research activities.  

The Open and Shared Technology Platform is managed by dedicated personnel responsible for its operation, maintenance, and technical guidance for equipment use. It comprises a Platform Management Office and six technical service platforms: the Protein Marker Detection Platform, the Nucleic Acid Research Platform, the Flow Cytometry Technology Platform, the Cell and Tissue Morphology and Function Research Platform, the Experimental Animal Platform, and the Diagnostic and Therapeutic Antibody Development and External Service Platform. Located on the first floor of the institute, the shared platform is equipped with over forty medium and large-scale research instruments and devices.  

Since its establishment, the Open and Shared Technology Platform has effectively integrated technological and equipment resources, creating favorable conditions for research work and providing the institute with a technical advantage in external competition. While fully supporting and prioritizing the implementation of research projects commissioned within the institute, it also offers technical services to external institutions, promoting resource sharing.
